Today was mega-prednisone day (1200 mg – that’s over a gram!) and it makes it hard for me to sleep. I took a sleeping pill and went online until the pill kicked in.
Apparently it never did. I just looked out the window and realized it is full daylight and 7:15 am.
Now I have surfed the internet like a mad woman and it is 9 am. I need to wake up my family and sleep the day away. It will be good to sleep these drugs off. Perhaps I will go in the pool with Q this afternoon. The ice-cold water seems to make my leg feel better. They say that heat reduces nerve transmission, so perhaps cold improves it. We do stay very active in the pool to prevent hypothermia, so that may help.

Daily Check-In:
- I’m grateful! for the drugs they have for MS. No matter how I hate taking them and how they make me feel, I am willing to do whatever the doctors think will improve my functioning. So far, so good! Ooh, I am also grateful to iTunes for having Glee episodes online. We decided to bite the bullet last night and let Q get one after a long, hard day of work (and all three of us gathered around the laptop to watch). Now all I need to do is figure out how to see Friends and we’ll be golden.
Yay, yay, yay! Remember, I expect my prednisone-induced sibling to swim many laps 🙂 Hugs!

August 26th! D and Q were discussing yesterday that we are (sadly or happily) almost halfway through the trip. It’s crazy to think that’s true.
