plan #6 – see a play

Antigone

It’s play time!

Quinland’s in the Wilson High School SouthWest StageWorks (SW)2 production of Antigone – on now! it opened last night and there are still tickets available for the following performances:

  • Sunday, Nov 8 – 2 pm
  • Thursday, Nov 12 – 7 pm
  • Friday, Nov 13 – 7 pm
  • Saturday, Nov 14 – 7 pm

David and I went to see it tonight and were very impressed. It is the French playwright Anouilh’s adaptation of the ancient Theban drama by Sophocles, complete with Greek chorus. Q plays Haemon, Antigone’s love interest (and gets to be loving, angry, and despairing – because it is, after all, a Greek tragedy).

So, come on down! See the play! You can get tickets online at southweststageworks.com or take your chances by coming early and getting tickets at the door. I’ll be going again on the 13th and 14th and I’d love to see you there!

Let's talk! Comments are always welcome!
