Ladies and gentlemen, I have decided to invest in myself and take my health goals to the next level in 2018. I’ve signed up for Precision Nutrition Coaching. Don’t worry — this post is not sponsored, it’s not an ad, and nobody is twisting my arm to tell you about it. I’m just going to be focusing a lot of time on it this year, so I figured I’d give you a heads-up in case I refer to it along the way.
I’m really excited. I decided on the PN program because it’s not gimmicky; it’s not a fad diet or some crazy weightlifting extravaganza that would be beyond my abilities. It’s habit-based — you learn habits of eating and moving that help you get healthier now and help keep you healthy into the future. (Okay, that sounds cheesy, but that is what I want: something that works for the long haul.) The PN coaches contact you regularly to keep you moving forward. My coach, Lisanne, started emailing me before the program started; she was designing my exercise program and wanted to be able to take the specific details of my MS symptoms into account. I can’t wait to see what she comes up with.
Yesterday was the first day of the program, so you can expect to see a fitter, more energetic Lori by the end of 2018. I’m telling you all about it now for the sake of accountability; if enough people know my goal to get healthier, the less likely I’ll be to throw in the towel!
Healthy food. Lots of movement. Tons of water. Plenty of sleep. (Whoa – that sounds a lot like David’s Rules for Me.) Put that together with appropriate medications at appropriate times, and I’ll be feeling better in no time.
Ready . . . set . . . GO!
This is great. I am cheering you on. This is a great life style change that will benefit you in more ways than you may even know at the moment. May the force of good habits be with you.

And also with you! (There’s my Catholic joke of the day. We don’t even say that anymore, sadly.) If I have the kind of results you had when you changed your habits, I’m gonna look fabulous!
